TOW TRUCK OPTIONS

While flatbed towing remains the most popular and widely used option, we want you to know that we offer other towing options as well. If you have a specific preference for a particular type of tow truck, please feel free to request it. We will do our best to accommodate your needs, especially if you have a specialty vehicle or require a unique towing solution, provided you schedule it in advance. In most cases, flatbed towing is the preferred and recommended option due to its versatility and safety benefits. However, if you require a different type of towing service, just let us know, and we'll be more than willing to accommodate your request.

Regardless of the reason for the tow, Compton Towing is always ready to come to your rescue. When you use our exceptional services, you gain access to a wide range of tow trucks and towing accessories to meet your specific needs. Your satisfaction and the safe transportation of your vehicle are our top priorities. In the past, hook and chain tow trucks were more commonly used, and we still have a few of these trucks in our fleet today. If you specifically prefer this type of truck, please inform us, and we will accommodate your request.

This truck utilizes chains to lift either the front or rear axle of the vehicle, allowing it to be towed with either the front or back wheels touching the pavement. Additionally, we offer wheel-lift tow trucks, which serve as an excellent middle ground between flatbed tow trucks and hook and chain tow trucks. These trucks are smaller and more maneuverable, while still providing the option to lift the entire vehicle off the ground to avoid using its wheels on the street during towing.

In such cases, we can also provide a dolly to support the other end of the car that is not lifted, ensuring that the vehicle does not touch the street at all during the tow. When it comes to basic towing needs, there are three main options available. These options are typically sufficient for the majority of local tow requests, and we always dispatch one of these tow trucks whenever we receive a call for assistance. However, in addition to these common options, we also have a selection of unique tow trucks, mostly available upon request. These specialized tow trucks cater to specific situations, particularly involving specialty cars or rare circumstances where alternative solutions are required.

The heavy-duty tow trucks are designed to handle towing exceptionally large and heavy vehicles, such as buses or commercial trucks. They are constructed with robust features to bear the immense weight of these vehicles effectively. For more challenging terrains and rough conditions like snow, sand, or mud, we have off-road tow trucks equipped with four-wheel drive and specialized equipment. These trucks are particularly useful in mountainous regions and areas with harsh environmental conditions. The boom trucks, although less common, serve multiple purposes beyond towing. They are equipped with hydraulic arms that allow them to lift and move extremely heavy and immovable objects.

In certain cases, such as severe accidents where vehicles are wrecked beyond the point of easy towing, boom trucks can be deployed for the task. No matter what type of towing service you require, we have a diverse fleet of tow trucks ready to handle the job. From standard to specialized vehicles, we are well-equipped to meet your towing needs effectively and efficiently.
